Congratulations to Nikki Thomas, who has formed
Arctic Irish Dance, in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Nikki's career in Irish Dance started over 10 years
ago with the Mc Dade School of Irish Dance. She
competed throughout the Delaware Vally reaching
the level of Champion. Ms. Thomas has had the
opportunity to perform all over the country as a
member of the Dara Carr Troupe with Andy Cooney
in his Christmas Tour.
In July 2008 she attended master classes, including
those taught by Collin Dunne, seeking to expand
and increase her range and breadth of Irish Dance
experience and abilities.
Nikki's talents don't just stop at Irish Dancing. She
has had two major rolls in film. She has also had
several commercials as well as guest appearances
on TV. In 2009 she appeared on stage in
Shakespeare's Macbeth.
Nikki will joining the North American Irish Dance
Federation this year.
